FLORIDA DIARIES // DISNEY'S EPCOT

Welcome to day 2 of Florida diaries! Today we were off to EPCOT,  the "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" at Disney World Florida. One of Disney's quieter parks, its atmosphere was just so relaxed and chill, especially compared with the Magic Kingdom yesterday! It's attractions are super educational and it's not the place for thrill rides, but I don't mind at all as I often prefer the classic rides at Disney.

When you go to Epcot, you're greeted by this huge golf ball, which is known as spaceship earth. Inside is a classic ride which takes you through the history of mankind. The animatronics were updated since I last saw this ride, but it still has that old-school animatronic ride feel and it's super educational and they even take your photo at the beginning so you can 'plan your future' on the screen, which was super hilarious.

Another great ride was test track, where you design your own vehicle and 'test' it on the track. It's super hilarious and we made the most ridiculous car we could, with flames and all! There was also loads of trucks and stupidly sized cars afterwards where you can take pictures and sit inside. It was so ridiculous, but all great fun.

My favourite part of Epcot is the world showcase, a land where all countries are represented around a huge lake. Its great because you get to walk around and experience different cultures and architecture. My favourite land was Japan as their shop was full entirely of crazy anime merchandise and strange Japanese products, but it was super cool to have Howard experience Epcot and world showcase for the first time ever.

Some of these pavilions had rides and shows which was super cool, although we missed a few such as the Frozen ride in Norway, the wait time was too long.. and I'm also not a huge fan of Frozen 🙈 I did however enjoy a frozen Pina colada in Mexico.. 😂

feelin' sassy with my pina colada..

Another super cool part of Epcot is the 'living with the land' ride, which was a boat ride that takes you through the Disney labs of agriculture.. which is super interesting.. they grow watermelons in the air! As a crazy plant lady, this was my thing and it was so interesting to see how differently plants can be grown.

I really enjoyed Epcot and I am always sad to leave this place. I always find my self waving goodbye to spaceship earth. Although it isn't my all time favourite park, I love the feel and journey of this place, there's something new overtime I visit.

And who can't be sad to leave this gorgeous view of spaceship earth..

Thanks for reading as always,
