Hello October and a very warm hello to Autumn. My favourite season of them all. Grab a cup of tea, because let's be honest, I haven't written for a long while.
I literally can't believe that it's October already, where has this year gone? Seems like only a few months a go I was writing up for blogtober and super getting into my blog again (oh how times have changed though.) I've learnt a lot more about blogging over the past year and I thought it would be nice to challenge myself to actually complete Blogtober this time, although we shall see how it goes.
I'm back at home now in Bournemouth and sure, it's pretty dull but it is one of the most beautiful places and waking up to sunrises on the beach is still one of my favourite things to see, so you could say I'm pretty lucky, but I'm still dealing with this strange sort of sadness inside me about Bournemouth. It's beautiful, but there's always just something that I can't quite figure out and to be honest - I don't think I ever will, but I'm accepting that it's okay to not be perfectly happy with where you're at.
I'm excited to announce that I'm working on something I find truly special with my other half too - it's involving a lot of planning and I don't really want to give too much away right now, but it's getting me pumped about being online again. I've taken a break from freelancing in an attempt to sort out what it is I want to do with blogging and although it doesn't pay the bills, it's something I've been passionate about for a long time.. I feel like Instagram and the pressures of blogging has just made me not really enjoy creating content, so this is a project I'm really looking forward to doing in my spare time. Who knows, maybe I'll come back inspired as ever.
Also being a graduate is just weird right? I've spent 4 years at university and now I'm free as a bird, (well not quite) I still have to be an adult and work full time for the rest of my life, but hey ho, I'm trying to stay on the positive side, which is quite daunting if I'm honest! (haha) but I'm back to being a barista and pumping out those coffee's everyday - oh the joys.
But it's not all doom and gloom as autumn is always my favourite time of year especially October, all the lovely cosy nights and events normally happen this month, so it's a really cool creative time for me, in the lead up to Christmas.
What are your plans for October? Feel free to leave your blog links too if you're taking part in #blogtober! I love to catch up and read what everyone's doing this month.
I'm over on Bloglovin' so please subscribe if you want to keep up with my October content!
